Mistress McCutchan began Morbid Outlook as a print zine in August 1992. The cut and paste, xeroxed and stapled entity was a great opportunity to publish her own writings. It quickly took off as a zine when various people joined in with their poems, writings, photographs and demo tapes for review.

It has always been a labor of love for her and went on to become an online entity sometime in November 1995. Two issues were released a year. In September 1996, Morbid Outlook became a web-only publication and was easier to produce, publish and distribute. Now Morbid Outlook is updated monthly and has undergone a few design phases over the years.

Many late nights are spent poring over content and designs for upcoming issues. Mistress McCutchan aims for great features and hopes you enjoy the zine as much as she enjoys working on it!
