About the Artist
The silly and sleepless Mistress McCutchan, otherwise known in the real world simply as Laura, created Morbid Outlook in August of 1992, while still a gothling in high school.
She is a full-time, senior web designer, DJ, and director of The Serpentina North Ensemble. She is vegan, but not one of the pushy ones. When not on the road or working like a maniac, she can be found becoming one with the couch, especially if Three’s Company is on.

Saint John the Divine, New York, New York
St. John’s Cathedral, located on West 112th St. and Amsterdam Ave. in New York City is the largest gothic cathedral in the world. The strangest touch of the modern world is inside many parts of the private chapels and mini-memorials, and the outside is an overwhelming and beautiful structure. Part of the outside is currently being renovated, and even more is being added to the private inner chapels. Breathtaking. I’m counting this as a “cemetery scene” due to the inner memorials and burials inside the church. In the middle ages, the closer you were buried to the church signified the closer you would be in getting into heaven. April 1997.
