Anubis
Anubis is the jackal-headed Egyptian god of the dead, leading the souls to the underworld. He is the offspring of Nephthys affair with Osiris.
Kali
Kali is the bloodthirsty Indian goddess of death and destruction. She usually has four arms, symbolizing absolute dominion over all finite things. (Here she is pictured with six!) Her husband is Shiva, the god of destruction.
Athena
Athena is the Roman warrior goddess who also presided over commerce. In Greek mythology she is known as Minerva.
Samedi
Samedi, or the Baron Samedi, is the Haitian Voodoo god of death and eroticism. His mother is Agaman Nibo, goddess of the dead and protectress of cemeteries.
Poseidon
Poseidon is the Greek god of the seas and protector of all waters. Powerful, violent, and vengeful, he carried the trident, with which he caused earthquakes. He is identified as Neptune by the Romans.
Odin
Odin is the father god; the supreme being and oldest of all in Norse mythology. He is identified as the god of wisdom, poetry, magic, and war. Also known by Odhinn, Woden, Wodan, and Woutan.
