About the Artist
Sarada Holt’s love of antique Halloween postcards led her to begin painting her own year-round Halloween images a few years ago, including everything from traditional witches, cats and jack o’lanterns to haunted mermaids, fairies and dragons. She began painting at the age of 12 during a long illness and over the years has experimented with fantasy, surrealist and abstract art. She graduated from Drew University in 1995 with a degree in English literature and is a professional writer, occasional seamstress and a member of the dark folk band Stone Breath. More of her work can be seen at her website.
