About the Author
The silly and sleepless Mistress McCutchan, otherwise known in the real world simply as Laura, created Morbid Outlook in August of 1992, while still a gothling in high school.

She is a freelance web designer, but also makes time to also design and make all sorts of stuff, DJ, dance as one-half of Serpentina as well as direct her Toronto-based troupe, The Serpentina North Ensemble. She is vegan, but not one of the pushy ones. When not working like a maniac, she can be found becoming one with the couch, especially if Three’s Company is on.

Haunting ambient strewn with moody soundtracks and heavy noise make for a sensuously spacy compilation. More information can be found at Parasomnic Records.
Lycia – The Empty Space
Track Listing: Not Here, Not Anywhere, You Can Never Go Home Again, Persephone, Fur & Thistle, Hope Is Here, Violent Violet, Bloody Basin, The Long Drive, This Is The End.
This sounds like the album that would have been made if Tara Vanflower were part of Lycia back in the early 90’s; this is very much reminiscent of Ionia-era Lycia. Released on Silber Records; for more information and mp3’s, check out silbermedia.com.
Thou Shalt Not – The White Beyond
Track Listing: Inside of You, In Spite of You, Cardinal Directions, Come A Time, We Could Have Flown Like Pollen, The Ocean Is Your Voice, Glaciers, 100 Generations, The Insistence On Solid Floors, G.L.M., Trial By Fire, Song For The Dying, The White Beyond, (Breathe Again).
Catchy synthpop-darkwave from Philly’s Ferret Discs, very on the 80’s tip. Fans of Neuropa and The Cruxshadows will certainly dig this.
