About the Author
The silly and sleepless Mistress McCutchan, otherwise known in the real world simply as Laura, created Morbid Outlook in August of 1992, while still a gothling in high school.

She is a freelance web designer, but also makes time to also design and make all sorts of stuff, DJ, dance as one-half of Serpentina as well as direct her Toronto-based troupe, The Serpentina North Ensemble. She is vegan, but not one of the pushy ones. When not working like a maniac, she can be found becoming one with the couch, especially if Three’s Company is on.

Ten Questions with St. Eve
Mistress McCutchan
I really enjoy music, but it doesn’t necessarily mean I want to read about it. If you think band interviews/reviews are a tedious read, try writing one! I thought it would be much more interesting to gain insight on the people behind the music with just ten little questions, straight from the artists to you...

1) Chocolate or vanilla?
Vanilla ice cream. Chocolate truffles. No particular order.
2) Do you have any pets and what are they?
One cat ghost. Finally others have seen him.
3) Favourite place to visit?
Wherever I have never been but feel I’ve been before.
4) Favourite article of clothing?
Depends on the day. Sometimes it’s that deliciously overwashed t-shirt or sometimes it’s some super uncomfortable but fabulous thing that makes me feel superhuman.
5) Favourite piece of art?
Changes. I was recently taken by some sculptures by Jim Amaducci.
6) If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?
I would be a cross between Rogue (X Men) and Blossom of the Power Puff girls. However, I once dressed up for a party in a fairly normal way for me and was stopped a couple of times to be told I looked like Storm. God, I love that white wig.
7) What are you most likely to be doing at 3 am?
Internet stuff.
8) Age you lost your virginity?
16
9) What piece of advice would you give to a teenager?
Grow up enough to take care of business but don’t grow out of your ability to be a kid. I spent a long time coming full circle in a lot of ways. Now I get paid to jump around in silly costumes. You pretty much learn everything you need in kindergarten.
10) What are you most proud of to date?
The ability to survive in a non-corporate lifestyle.
